Job Placement Assistance -- We Are Here To Help
Students who would like employment assistance will receive help with preparing a new resume, updating their resume when changes occur, cover letters, and reference lists. TLC is dedicated to ensuring the success of our students both while enrolled and after.
Technology Learning Center offers access to GradCast, an online service at no cost to the students. We will forward their resume to employers of their choosing from a list complied by GradCast. TLC also provides students with a listing of job openings in the area. In some cases, when applicable, we set up job interviews. This service is provided to all students enrolled at the school and graduates.
It is the intention of the school to assist students in finding employment opportunities within their field of study, but naturally it does not guarantee employment. But we will work extensively to do all we can to help you achieve career and job goals. With the school's vast networking and keeping up with prior students, we often have those looking specifically to hire TLC learners.
The school maintains Student Employment Records for a minimum of five years, to ensure we are able to confirm student attendance and course/programs taken for prospective employers that are looking to hire an individual.
Students may call or stop by the office when they are ready to begin their search for employment.
