Scholarship applications for the Randa Chamoun Technology Learning Center Inner City Scholarships are now available for deserving seniors at online at www.tlcedu.com.
TLC will award a total of four (4) scholarships, each valued at $5,500 for the 2017-2018 school year.
The scholarship will be presented annually to Worcester public high school seniors who want to pursue a post high school trade school education.
The guidance counselor at each city school will have applications available in late April. You can also download the scholarship application from the website.
Classes are available in a number of areas, including HVAC/R, Steam Engineering, Facilities Technician, Pipe-fitting, etc. Please see website for full class offerings.

To be eligible for consideration, the nominee shall have:
- Performed academically with an overall minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50. (based on a maximum of 4.0) or its equivalent. The student shall be evaluated based upon all academic work completed through the first term of his/her senior year.
- Performed with distinction in terms of leadership and character, serving as an example to fellow students as a participant in community, charity and school activities. The amount of participation shall be weighted at least equally with the degree of academic performance.
- Signified the intention to pursue education in the trades.
- Conducted him/herself in a manner that has brought credit to the student and their institution.
Please include with your application three (3) letters of recommendation. These letters can be from people who know you through school, your job or community service activities.
